Description
Eadburgha House is a Grade II listed inn, now functioning as a shop, built in 1774 with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys with an attic and a storey band.
On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century shop fronts with glazing bars. The right-hand shop front includes a doorway that is accessed by three stone steps. The left-hand bay has a yard entrance with a round arch, and the keystone above it is inscribed with the year "1774". The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars and plain ashlar reveals, along with attic dormers. There are chimneys located on the right side and to the right of the left-hand bay.
Inside, the right-hand room features exposed chamfered main and common joists.
