Description
No. 107 Sidbury is a house that has been converted into a shop. It likely dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the mid to late 19th century. The building features a painted brick facade and a plain tile roof, with a right-angle plan that was originally gable-fronted to the street.
The exterior has two storeys and includes one first-floor window. The first floor features a 2/2 horned sash window set in a near-flush frame, and there is a modillion eaves band. The ground floor has a shop front with glazed windows and a frieze that includes a blind box, flanked by outer pilasters. The entrance, located on the left, consists of a part-glazed door.
Inside, the front part of the ground floor has transverse boxed beams. The building is part of a notable group that includes Nos 79 and 79A, 81, The Commandery, No.1 The Commandery Drive, and Nos 87-111 (odd).
