Description
1 and 2 Greenstreet Lodge are a pair of lodge cottages built around 1840 for the Pull Court estate, designed by Edward Blore. They are constructed from blue lias stone with Bath stone dressings and feature a plain tile roof, showcasing a Jacobean style. The buildings are one storey with an attic and have a T-plan layout. The front range includes a cluster of four stone ridge stacks and two additional stacks at the east end. The central section projects and has a coped shaped gable with an ogee finial, with similar detailing at the east and west ends. The eaves are moulded stone. In the center, there is a three-sided bay window with a two-light mullion window and a hood-mould above. To the right, there is a stone porch with a shaped gable and a two-light window, while to the left, there is a single light window. The rear wing mirrors the front with a paired stack at the north end, a shaped gabled dormer, and a stone shaped gabled porch with a two-light window on the west side. A modern wing has been added to the rear east side.
