Description

Massey Farmhouse is a 17th century farmhouse that has been altered over time. It features a timber-framed structure with painted brick and a plain tile roof, which includes a square ridge stack and two gabled dormers. The building has one storey and an attic, designed with a lobby entrance plan. The entrance door is set within a hipped tiled porch that has a cambered head, flanked by a triple casement window on each side. To the right of the entrance, there is a blocked door and a two-light casement window. The timber framing is exposed on the left side and the gable end, showcasing tension braces. Additionally, there is a one-storey brick addition at the north-west angle of the farmhouse.
