This boundary post, located in Great Malvern, dates from the mid 19th century and is made of cast iron with a rounded top. It features relief lettering that reads "CLERKENWELL/1863/THOS. PARTRIDGE/THOS. BARNETT/CHURCH/WARDENS." This post is part of a group of boundary markers that were established to delineate the boundary of the Clerkenwell estate, which was gifted in the mid 17th century by Sir George Strode to the poor of the parish of Clerkenwell in London.
