Description
The building is a larder, now used as a store, along with a wall and gateway that enclose a yard to the north-west of Hanley Court. It dates from around 1750 and is constructed of brick with a hipped plain tiled roof. The structure has two levels and three bays; the outer bays feature round archways, while the central bay has two blind round archways with inserted Diocletian windows. Above this, on the upper level, there is a three-light casement window with a cambered head. The larder is flanked by single-storey additions, each with a hipped roof and a wide round-headed archway in the front elevation. To the north-west, a wall approximately six feet high and 15 yards long connects the larder to the north-west side of the stables and is interrupted by a gateway with square gate piers.
