Description

The remains of a churchyard cross, dating from the 14th century, are located about 7 yards south of the nave of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. The structure features sandstone ashlar and consists of an octagonal three-stepped base with a central square base for the cross shaft. It is noted that the top step and the cross shaft were replaced in the 19th century, as recorded in the Victoria County History.
