Description

No 170 on Guarlford Road is a small timber-framed house from the 17th century, featuring a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two and a half bays, along with a gabled cross wing that originally included an attic. A large central chimney stack is prominent on the structure. On the north elevation, there are two original projecting wood mullion windows supported by small console brackets; one window has five lights while the other has three lights. The south elevation includes a gabled dormer, along with later additions of doors, windows, and an outshut. At the west end of the cross wing, there is a small modern flat-roofed addition that is two storeys high.
