Description

The gate pier, low wall, and base of a second gate pier are located approximately 30 meters east of the stable complex at Witley Court. These features date from around 1860 and were part of the work done at Witley Court by S. Daukes for Lord Ward, the first Earl of Dudley. The gate pier is square-set and has a moulded plinth and capping. It connects to a low wall to the north and a second gate pier to the south, forming the southeastern entry to the formal garden of Witley Court. The low wall features moulded capping, while the second gate pier has a square-set base with a moulded plinth.
