Description

Birley Mill Cottage is a 17th-century house constructed with timber framing, brick infill, and a tiled roof. The building features four rows of square panels and stands two storeys tall with two bays. It has irregularly spaced casement windows and a door located between the bays. The cottage has gable chimneys, with the left-hand chimney featuring a projecting stack and the right-hand chimney positioned forward of the ridge.
