Description

Stoke Pound Bridge (No 48) is a canal bridge built around 1805, with some repairs from the late 19th century and mid-20th century. The bridge is constructed of brick and features stone copings. It has a semi-elliptical arch with a band above and a plain stone-coped parapet. There is a pilaster at each end of the bridge, and the responds have been partially repaired in blue brick.
