Description
Stockwell End Cottage is a house located in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, dating from the late 17th century with an early 19th-century first floor and various alterations. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a tile roof with brick stacks. It has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The windows are 12-pane sashes, four panes wide, and the central window on the ground floor may have originally served as the entrance. There is a porch at the left end with a return entrance that has a plain door. The front and right return have casements with leaded glazing, and the inner door has a pegged frame. The cottage includes end stacks and a cross-axial stack. At the rear, there is a two-storey hipped bay with small-paned glazing. Inside, the property features chamfered beams and timber-framed internal walls.
