Description

This is a mid-19th century sewer ventilation pipe made of cast iron. It has a cylindrical shape with a flared top and a tapered lower stem, both featuring decorative leaf ornamentation. The base is plainly moulded. This pipe is a rare example of an early sewer pipe.
