Description
This is a row of three headstones located approximately 2 meters east of the Church of St Michael and All Angels in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. The headstones date from the early 17th century and 1764 and are made of ashlar. The first headstone is dedicated to Mary Dykes and features a triangular head with an inverted heart above a recessed inscription panel. The second headstone, for Edward Duke, has a shaped top with incised decoration and a recessed inscription panel. The third headstone has a pointed-arched head and commemorates the repair of the chancel at the expense of Thomas Fowler in 1764.
