Description
This is a row of five headstones located approximately 3 metres southeast of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. They date from the late 17th century and 18th century and are made of ashlar stone. The headstones commemorate Will Dix, who died in 1694, featuring a scrolled head; Humphrey Fleming, who died in 1771, with a shaped head and incised scrolled decoration; and James Hargrove, who died in 1758, which has a shaped head with Rococo decoration. The headstones for Joseph Wilton, who died in 1812, and Benjamin Burrows are not considered of listable quality.
