Description
This is an outbuilding, currently used as a garage, located approximately 5 metres east of Number 83. It dates from the 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. The structure features a timber frame with brick infill and brick elements, topped with a plain-tile roof that is hipped to the left. It is a single-storey building with two bays of square panel framing, some of which include braces. There is a door on the left side and a single-light window on the right. The right end has been rebuilt in brick and includes a garage doorway with a single-light window above it. Inside, the building has queen-post trusses with braces and clasped principals, trenched purlins with windbraces, and a ridge piece. This outbuilding was originally one of the farm buildings associated with Number 85 and is included for its group value.
