Description
Gerse Farm Bridge is a footbridge over the Tame Valley Canal, built between 1841 and 1844. It is a prefabricated cast iron girder bridge featuring cast iron girder parapets that are pierced to create a regular pattern of St Andrew's crosses within rectangles. The bridge has a slightly cambered dock and is supported by rock-faced stone piers and abutments, which are topped with stone copings.
