Description
The footbridge over the New Main Line at Bromford Junction, located 20 meters south of the Bottom Lock at Spon Lane Locks on the Birmingham Canal, was built in 1848. It features a cast-iron structure supported by brick abutments and has a single segmental arch. The lattice sides are bolted together in three sections, with the central section inscribed: "THE HORSELEY COMPANY TIPTON 1848".
