Description

The main entrance to Coventry War Memorial Park, built in 1926, features decorative wrought iron gates created by Hill and Smith of Birmingham. These gates are hung between four stone gate piers that were constructed using stone reclaimed from part of Coventry's medieval city wall. The taller inner gate piers are topped with lanterns.
