Description

Villa Place is an early 19th century pair of houses that are treated as one structure. The buildings are finished in stucco and topped with a slate roof. Each house features two bays, with an additional set back bay that contains a subsidiary arched entrance. They are connected by a single bay that has a carriage entrance, and above this entrance, the words 'Villa Place' are inscribed on a band at the first floor level. Each house has a rusticated ground floor with a door set three steps up within a panelled reveal, alongside a single sash window. A flat band runs along the first floor level, which contains three sash windows, with the window above the subsidiary door being narrower than the others. There is also a band at the eaves level.
