Description
Nos 31 and 32 on Waterloo Street, part of Wellington House, were built around 1830. The building is made of stucco and stands three storeys high with four bays, where the two central bays project forward. The ground floor features banded rustication, with the inner windows having large aprons and the outer doors adorned with pilasters and cornices supported by brackets. The tall first-floor windows have moulded surrounds, all resting on a broad band with blank panels below. The second-floor windows are only three panes deep and sit on a moulded band. All windows are sash style and include glazing bars. The building is topped with a dentilled and moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course.
