Description

The Caretaker's House for Birmingham Athletic Institute is a modest terrace house dating from around 1860, and it is a rare survival of this type in the city centre. The building is three storeys high, constructed of red brick, and features a single bay front with a parapet that conceals the roof line. The windows are revealed glazing bar sashes with moulded stucco lintels. The entrance includes a revealed six-panel door with a fanlight, set within a pilaster case and an archivolt arch.
