Description

No. 3 Speedwell Road is a detached red brick villa built between 1840 and 1850. It stands two storeys high and features a symmetrical three-bay front. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has flat eaves along with flanking chimneys. The villa has revealed sash windows that are topped with flat stucco arches, except for a canted first-floor window that has a round arch. The windows also have stucco sills. The entrance includes a pilastered doorway, which is similar to that of No. 1, and is adorned with a dentil string and a moulded cornice.
