Description
The Roving Bridge, located just west of the Rotton Park West and Soho Loop East entrances over the Birmingham Wolverhampton Canal, is a cast iron trough bridge dating from around 1830. It is of the Horseley type but was actually cast by Thompson, Astbury and Company of Smethwick. The bridge features X pattern pierced balustrades and double ranged stone dressed brick abutments.
