Description

The storage building at Number 23, part of the City of Birmingham Engineers Depot, was constructed in 1885. It is a two-storey structure with three bays, built of brick and topped with a slate roof. The ground floor features two two-light windows with segmental heads and a door, along with a band at the ground floor sill level. Above, the first floor has two two-light windows with flat heads and a single-light window. All windows are sashes, with original glazing bars in the first-floor windows, and are framed by bold painted surrounds. The building is located approximately 40 metres west-south-west of the entrance, facing St Vincent Street.
