Description
SHEEPCOTE STREET 1. 5104 Ladywood B16 Nos 36 and 37 SP 0586 NE 31/15 II GV 2. C1875-80 brass works. A 2 storey finely detailed red brick range of interest as still following the design of Nos 28 to 31 at this late date. Engineering brick plinth. Impost level brick entablature to ground floor and entablature between floors the cornice as sill course to first floor. Bed mould to frieze and moulded brick eaves cornice. All mouldings of cut and shaped brickwork. Slate roof with corniced chimneys. Has group on 3 arched windows flanked by round arched loading bay and office entrance. Broad segmental arched waggon way to right with small doorway giving access to stairs at far end. First floor has slightly irregularly spread range of 6 segmental arched windows, recessed for one order with reveals carried down to between floor cornice.
