Description
14 Edward Street is an early to mid-19th century building located in Ladywood, Birmingham. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays.
On the ground floor, there is a tripartite window with four arched lights and a cornice supported by elongated brackets. The main entrance is framed by a plain surround with roundels and is topped with a cornice hood on moulded volutes. Additionally, there is a subsidiary arched door with a moulded hood.
The first floor has two sash windows that rest on a plain band and are adorned with a cornice on elongated brackets. The second floor also features two windows with large sills, positioned beneath the moulded eaves cornice. All first and second floor windows are sash types with marginal glazing bars, with the second floor windows having three panes instead of four, which are deeper.
