Description

This is a small sandstone ashlar bridge, dated 1441, located 160 yards southwest of Goodrest Farmhouse in Leek Wootton. It crosses the eastern arm of the inner moat that surrounds the site of the medieval manor house of Goodrest. The bridge features two four-centred arches with voussoirs and has a string band at road level. It is recognized as an Ancient Monument.
