Description
Holly Cottage is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 16th or 17th century, featuring red brick infill panels and a stone and brick plinth. It has a thatched roof with a gabled end on the south side and a half-hipped end on the north. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. On the east side, which is partly faced with brick, there are three two-light casement windows with glazing bars and two plank doors. The roof includes two gabled dormers at the eaves level, each with small two-light casements positioned in the centre and to the left. The cottage also has brick stacks at the ridge and ends, along with late single-storey lean-tos at each end.
