Description
The Old Post House is a 17th century cottage made of sandstone ashlar, featuring a moulded eaves cornice. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and consists of one storey and an attic. The central entrance has a modern door set within a pilastered doorcase. To the right, there are stone mullioned three-light casement windows, and to the left, an oriel bay window. The cottage also has two three-light dormers and two brick ridge chimney stacks. A modern single storey extension has been added to the north.
