Description
No 21 Jury Street is an early to mid-19th century building with three storeys and a three-window stucco facade. The windows feature sashes set in plain reveals. A large central porch, which has a rather heavy design, is supported by Greek Ionic columns and includes an entablature and a blocking course. The reveals and door have fielded panelling, and there is a rectangular fanlight with a moulded architrave. On the right side of the first floor, there is an incongruous oriel bay that lacks glazing bars. The building has a simple cornice at the eaves, topped with a blocking course. This property is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Jury Street, ranging from Nos 17 to 37.
