Description
27 Jury Street is a 3-storey building from the 18th century with a two-window ashlar facade. The windows are sashes set in plain reveals, featuring flat arches and keyblocks. At the eaves, there is a moulded stone cornice, which is in rather poor repair. To the left side, there is a 6-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight in a plain arched reveal. The shopfront, which dates from the 19th century, is made of plate glass and divided into six lights with glazing bars. The roof is covered with old tiles. The door has fielded panels and radiating glazing bars in the fanlight, and there are Doric pilasters supporting the shopfront. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Jury Street, ranging from Nos 17 to 37.
