Description
The Lord Leycester Hotel Annexe is a building from 1781 located on the north side of Jury Street. It consists of two adjoining 18th century red brick structures. The left-hand building, known as the Annex, features two storeys plus an attic and has a six-window facade. The windows are sashes set in brick reveals with stone key blocks. The entrance includes a doorcase with console brackets, a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, a panelled reveal, Doric pilasters, and an open pediment. There is a stone band at the first-floor sill level, and the parapet has been painted cream. The roof has three modern dormers covered with machine tiles. All the listed buildings on the north side, from Nos 17 to 37, form a group.
