Description
Nos 12 and 14 on Jury Street is an early 17th-century building that stands three storeys tall and features timber framing. The second floor juts out, creating a jettied effect, and there are three flush gables. The ground floor is rendered with early 19th-century stucco that has horizontal rustications. The building has five sash windows in cased frames with glazing bars, along with two similar doorcases. Number 12 includes an "Adam type" fanlight. The roof is tiled and has 19th-century cresting along the ridge. Inside, it is said to have the original "cock pit" in the attic, and there is some early panelling in Number 14. All the listed buildings on the south side of Jury Street form a group.
