Description
Lock-keepers Cottage is located approximately 4 meters east of Lock 21 on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal. This cottage dates from the early 19th century and has a 19th-century addition on the right, along with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and features a 20th-century plain-tile roof and a rebuilt brick end stack on the left. The cottage is two stories high and has a two-window range. There is a stable door positioned to the left of center, and the windows are 20th-century two-light casements arranged in an irregular pattern. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is part of a group of canal buildings and is included for its group value.
