Lock Keepers Cottage Approximately 1 Metre North Of Bridge Number 32, Stratford Upon Avon Canal

Lock-keepers Cottage, located approximately 1 metre north of Bridge Number 32 on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, dates from the early 19th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a central brick ridge stack. It is two stories high and has a two-window range. On the south side, there is a sash door to the left, which has a segmental brick head and a gabled hood above it. To the left of the centre, there is a three-light casement window with a segmental brick head. A 19th-century lean-to addition is present on the ground floor to the right, while 20th-century casements have been added to altered openings on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
