Description

Nos 21 and 22 Hampton Street are a pair of houses built in 1781. They are part of a stucco terrace which extends from Nos 20 to 27. The terrace has a low-pitched Welsh slated hipped roof, a wide cornice, and basements. The houses have four sash windows, set within reveals, with glazing bars. They feature five-panel doors, each topped with an oblong fanlight containing geometrically patterned glazing bars. The facades include Doric pilasters with incised fret ornament, as well as friezes and cornices. The terrace forms a distinct group.
