Description

23 Hampton Street is a building dating from 1781. It features a sash window set in a reveal with glazing bars, and on the first floor, there is a two-sided diagonal oriel bay window also with glazing bars. The entrance has a five-panel door with a panelled reveal, a plain surround, and a cornice supported by consoles. The building is part of a stucco terrace from the early 19th century, which includes numbers 20 to 27. This terrace has a low-pitched hipped roof covered with Welsh slates, a wide cornice, basements, and stands two storeys tall. The terrace forms a group.
