Description
Hatton House is a large house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers and stone dressings. The building has a lower pitched slate hipped roof that is set behind a parapet. Notable architectural details include a stone cornice, rusticated quoins, a plinth, and moulded window architraves. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with a layout of two bays, one bay, and two bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. A central Doric porch, supported by stone columns and topped with a heavy entablature, features a flush panel door and a rectangular fanlight. The southeast garden front has a configuration of two bays, four bays, and two bays, with the central four bays recessed.
