Description

This is a simple, two-storey building with an attic, originally probably dating from the early 18th century, but heavily restored in later times. It is a three-window wide structure. The building is included on the list mainly for its group value, particularly due to its old tile roof with two gabled dormers that continue the roofline connected to number 4, “Mill House”. The walls are now covered with modern roughcast rendering. A modern door has been fitted. Windows are modern, featuring transomed and mullioned oak frames with casement windows and leaded lights. All the listed buildings in Mill Street, on both sides of the street, form a notable group.
