Description

The Malt House is a 17th-century, two-storey building with five windows, constructed from sandstone and featuring a splayed plinth. It has been sympathetically restored. On the left side, there is a possibly original four-centred arched splayed doorway with a modern boarded oak door. The building also includes later additions such as two-light windows with splayed stone mullions and leaded lights, as well as an ashlar chimney stack. A cast lead rainwater head displays a heraldic Warwick crest. The gablet in the center likely indicates the location of a pulley block for the original malt house. The roof is covered with old tiles. All the listed buildings on both sides of Mill Street form a group.
