Description

The building at 11 Mill Street is likely from the early 18th century, a two-story structure with an attic, originally featuring a five-window front of painted brickwork. It has a molded cornice at the eaves and rusticated quoins. A plain string band runs along the first floor, and painted stone keyblocks accentuate the ground floor openings. The building has a plinth and a flat-arched entrance in stucco. The central entrance has a six-panel door and a modern fanlight with leaded lights. The windows are metal casements with modern or restored leaded lights in transomed and mullioned wood frames. The roof is of old tiles and contains three gabled dormers with lattice casements. The building is part of a group of listed buildings on both sides of Mill Street.
