Description

Nos 1 and 3 on Mill Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features a two-window facade made of ashlar stone, with a moulded cornice at the eaves and a splayed plinth. The ground floor has sash windows set in plain reveals, while the upper floor has original metal casements. There are two gabled dormers that are now faced in roughcast. The entrance to No 1 has a half-glazed door, and the adjoining building has a boarded door, both of which are modern. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is a large red brick chimney stack. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along both sides of Mill Street.
