Description

Two houses, now shops and flats, dating from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. The houses are built of pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco front facades and have a Welsh slate roof. They are three storeys high, with four windows to the first floor. The first floor has two 6/6 sash windows, and two windows with 20th-century glazing. The second floor also has two 6/6 sash windows, and two windows with 20th-century glazing, all set in plain reveals with sills. An eaves band runs along the top. The ground floor has a glazed shop front from the mid-20th century on the left (number 105), with a further entrance to the right leading to a six-panel door with overlight, set in deep reveals. To the right (number 107) is a shop front with Tuscan pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, with slender glazing bars between the panes, containing a part-glazed entrance. A further entrance to the left leads to a 4-panel 20th-century door with overlight, via three roll-edged steps. The left return has two 6/6 sash windows and one 8/8 sash window. The interior was not inspected. Warwick Street was laid out around 1822-26. Numbers 105 and 107 include number 43 Warwick Street and form a group with numbers 109 and 111 Warwick Street.
