Description

Montford Cottage, located at No 72 on the north side of High Street, is a late 18th-century building constructed of stucco. It stands two storeys high and features a five-light angular bay on the right side, along with two additional windows. The entrance is a recessed door framed by a moulded wood surround topped with a dentilled pediment weather hood. The building has decorative bands and dentilled wood eaves, a slate roof, and two dormers that also have moulded pediments. Montford Cottage is part of a group with Nos 64 to 78 (even).
