BIRMINGHAM ROAD (north side) No 1, Mortimer Hall

(Formerly listed as No 1 (Elderfield))

II Early C19. Three storeys in stucco. Four windows, most retaining hung sashes with glazing bars, the bays marked by plain pilasters. The ground floor windows include a canted bay. Cornice and entablature in the form of a blocking course. Small doorway to gable end, which has full-height paired pilasters. Welsh slate roof.
