Description

The gazebo to the east of Barford House is a classical sun temple built around 1820. It has a rectangular shape with a central projecting segmental bay on the west side. The structure features two Tuscan Doric columns and eight square stucco pillars. It is adorned with an entablature and cornice that includes mutules. The roof is a leaded dome, and there are stone balusters and a handrail on the north and south sides, as well as part of the west side.
