Description

No. 1 Lower Leam Street is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick in an irregular bond, featuring painted stucco quoins and a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows, with 6/6 sash windows throughout. These windows are set in cambered surrounds with plain reveals and sills, and they have flat arches with keystones and quoined jambs. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century door with an overlight, all within a quoined surround. The house is topped with a modillion cornice. The interior has not been inspected. This property forms a corner architectural unit with No. 74 Leam Terrace.
