Description
Number 67 is a house dating from around 1840, with later additions and alterations, including a range at the rear. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a painted stucco front facade, topped with a Welsh slate roof and accompanied by cast-iron railings. The building has two storeys and features three first-floor windows. On the first floor, there is a continuous sill band with 6/6 sash windows in plain reveals. The facade includes a stepped frieze, cornice, low parapet, and copings.
The ground floor has a central entrance with a four-panel door and overlight, set within a porch supported by Tuscan pillars and engaged pilasters, along with a frieze and pediment. To the left, there is a canted bay with three 1/1 sash windows, also featuring a frieze, cornice, and parapet. To the right, a tall 6/6 sash window with a moulded surround is present. The roof is hipped, with tall end stacks that have cornices.
Inside, the house features a dog-leg staircase with stick balusters and a modillion cornice in the hall. The property also has subsidiary features, including lancet area railings.
