Description

Trevor House is a house dating from approximately 1834 to 1838, with later alterations. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick stacks, with painted stucco facades, and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is three storeys high and has three windows on the first floor. A plinth runs along the base. The first floor features a continuous band interrupted by tall French windows with ten panes, divided overlights, margin-lights, and sills. The second floor has six-over-six sash windows with sills and blind boxes to the outer bays. A central blind opening is also present with a sill. The central ground floor entrance leads up five steps to a panelled door with a glazed overlight containing glazing bars, set within a recess with an elliptically-arched opening detailed with engaged pilasters, a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. Two tall stacks are situated at the right end, each with a cornice and a hipped roof. The words 'TREVOR HOUSE' are inscribed in raised letters above a second-floor blind opening. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
